The Most Sensible Explanation

Bible Christianity provides the most sensible explanation for the origins of life. Jefrey Breshears explains it this way:

It is impossible that non-living matter could spontaneously produce life for the simple reason that non-living matter has no potential to produce life. Life-producing energy has to be added from the outside by an omnipotent and omniscient Intelligent Designer.

The alternative is to suggest that non-living matter spontaneously produced life in some form, with no outside input. This is an absurd conclusion, devoid of scientific evidence and logical sense.Bible Christianity also provides the most reasonable explanation for why people possess an innate sense of right and wrong. Again, Jefrey Breshears explains:

Materialistic elements such as atoms, molecules and cells are not conscious entities, nor do they have a sense of right and wrong. This is true for atoms, molecules and cells individually, and it is also true when they unite to form more complex physical properties. But if matter is all that is real, how is it that we carry within us an innate sense of good and evil?

The alternative is to suggest that molecules and cells somehow developed a state of moral consciousness, even though such a state is impossible for materialistic elements. A stone has neither consciousness nor a conscience. So why do we?For all the talk and so-called science that goes on, Bible Christianity offers the most reasonable explanation. An eternal, moral God created all things out of nothing (Gen. 1:1; 2:4; Heb. 11:3; Rev. 4:11). Then he created mankind, to whom he gave a material body, but also gave life, consciousness, and a conscience (Gen. 1:27; 2:7; Eccl. 12:7; 1 Cor. 15:45-47).There is one problem with this explanation. If we accept that a moral God created all things and gave mankind a sense of right and wrong, then we must also accept that we are answerable to that God as our moral standard and judge. This, of course, is a fact, not a problem. But it is fact that we prefer to reject and attempt to discredit (Rom. 1:21; 1:28).To do so, we postulate a plethora of alternative philosophies, but all fail to answer the questions I've raised in any sensible, reasonable way. We do not want to answer to God for the wrong things that we do, so we refuse to accept the biblical explanation of origins. We insist on an alternative. Any alternative, even when there is not clear evidence. What is the result? We say a lot of things in lecture halls and classrooms, books and laboratories, dissertations and documentaries. These things we say sound intelligent, when they are nothing more than irrational, illogical foolish-speak (Rom. 1:22). Bible Christianity provides the most sensible explanation for the origins of life, whether you are willing to answer to God for your sins or not.
